Zagor LU #349: Demoni magle

In Demoni magle, the pursuit of the renegade Viking Starkad takes Zagor, Chico, King Guthrum and his warriors to the shores of Lake Huron. They discover a region ravaged by merciless attacks, connecting their quarry with violence that threatens the surrounding communities.

Starkad now leads the notorious Salteaux Wendigo warriors, a group that has rejected the laws of the Great Spirit and lives by plunder and slaughter. The hunt for one fugitive becomes a confrontation with an organised threat, requiring Zagor and his companions to combine their strengths.

Jacopo Rauch brings Viking motifs into a North American frontier adventure with a dark atmosphere. Loyalty, betrayal and personal responsibility give the conflict an additional dimension: Guthrum’s warriors are pursuing an enemy who comes from their own world but has chosen a destructive path.

Gianni Sedioli and Marco Verni illustrate the wilderness setting and the story’s combat sequences. A Viking fellowship and a dangerous pursuit drive this middle chapter of a three-part adventure. It follows Ludens #348, Sedam Vikinga, and leads into the conclusion in #350, Hridine zla.
