Zagor LU #95: Teritorij Komanča
Zagor, Chico and Ranger Adam Crane try to prevent war in Texas. As raids and racial hatred deepen the conflict, Adam is torn between his duty and his Comanche friends.
In Teritorij Komanča, Zagor, Chico and Adam Crane struggle to prevent hostilities between the Texas Rangers and the Comanche from becoming an outright war. Raids on farms deepen the hostility, leaving less room for negotiation. Hatred and the desire for retaliation increasingly determine decisions on both sides.
Ranger Adam Crane faces a particularly painful dilemma. His duty conflicts with his friendship and blood-brother bond with the Comanche leader Grey Wolf. Prejudice also reaches into his personal life, making a fair response difficult without endangering relationships he once relied upon.
Mauro Boselli develops a western about divided loyalties, racism and the difficulty of preserving peace. Zagor tries to protect people rather than unquestioningly support a uniform or flag. The adventure gains a strong social dimension as each new attack strengthens those demanding war and weakens the voices seeking another solution.
Carlo Raffaele Marcello illustrates the second chapter of the four-part storyline begun in Ludens #94, Krvna braća. It continues in #96, Pod zastavom Meksika, and concludes in #97, Izazov u brdima Wichita. Reading the complete sequence provides the full development of its conflicts and character relationships.
