Biblija i književnost – interpretacije
The book includes works of Croatian and world literature whose selection is conditioned by biblical themes and motifs, which means that the selected texts in the book point to a biblical, mostly evangelical template.
The selected works belong to different literary genres: poetry, prose and drama. Some of the texts belong to children's literature (Hans Christian Andersen, Jagoda Truhelka, Ivana Brlić-Mažuranić, etc.), and some do not (Marko Marulić, August Šenoa, Dubravko Horvatić, and others). The content of the book is organized chronologically according to the beginnings of the literary work of each author. The book opens a series of comparative interpretations.
