Given that it is impossible to predict, there are doubts about its occurrence. Some say it's made up and that it's a good explanation for poor success.

Life with a dyspraxic child shows exactly the opposite - the child desperately tries to integrate into normal life and passes through it as if through a fog, discovering again and again that the world moves faster than him; that the things he wants are regularly out of his reach. This book is only an introduction to that complex state, about which so much can be said.
