Beograd - raskršće vekova i puteva

Beograd - raskršće vekova i puteva

Branislav Strugar

The monograph "Belgrade, crossroads of centuries and roads" contains a huge number of color photographs taken from the ground and from the air.

Prominent photographer Branislav Strugar, holder of the title of Master of Photography of FSJ and holder of the title of Distinguished Artist of Photography of ULUPUDS, took photos especially for the needs of this monograph, not only of the well-known tourist motifs of Belgrade, but also various segments of the city environment.

A carefully made selection of 233 photographs represents an extraordinary visual base for spreading the culture of an ancient and modern city like Belgrade. Author's approach reveals new possibilities of focusing on both well-known tourist motifs and completely atypical urban entities in the context of artistic photography. The variety and complexity of the selected visual motifs in Branislav Strugar's photographs provide an exciting and hitherto unknown image of Belgrade.
