The author of several similar booklets (From the history of Split, From the history of Dalmatia, From the history of the Adriatic...) in which Dr. Šimun Jurišić, assistant professor at the Faculty of Philosophy in Zadar, introduced a number of prominent people, politicians, public figures, writers, publicists, scientists, educational and health professionals from Split, Dalmatia and the wider Adriatic region, who have not yet been given a place in encyclopedias.
