Anđeoska ljubav

Anđeoska ljubav

Susan Elizabeth Phillips

Spoiled Daisy marries cold Alex to avoid prison. He, a trainer in a traveling circus, takes her to a world of tents and animals. Conflicts turn into fiery love. Hilarious romantic comedy about transformation and true relationship.

Beautiful, yet capricious and spoiled Daisy Devreaux (Theodosia) finds herself at a crossroads: either prison for endlessly spending the money she inherited from her mother, or a quick marriage to a complete stranger chosen for her by her father. A financial scandal – Daisy is a spendthrift living in a world of luxury, emotionally attached to her selfish mother – forces her to make a decision. Her father, a billionaire, arranges her marriage to Alex Markov, a mysterious, cold and irresistibly handsome man with a difficult past. Alex, who believes that love does not exist because he grew up without parents, has no intention of pampering the spoiled princess. Instead of a honeymoon, he drags her away to his world: a traveling circus in America, where they live in an old trailer, without comforts and servants.

Daisy, accustomed to Manhattan and shopping marathons, is faced with a nightmare: circus animals, dirty tents, hungry workers and Alex's stern gaze. He, an elephant and lion trainer, sees her as nothing more than a wayward girl who needs to be "tamed" - taught to work, responsibility and real life. He plans to give up after a week, but Daisy, although frightened by his coldness and physical strength, refuses to give in. Instead of running away, she fights: washing dishes, feeding animals, facing circus intrigues and even befriending the elephant Sinbad. Alex's world, full of danger and magic, slowly melts her facade - revealing that beneath the superficial pampering she hides a vulnerable soul longing for true love.

As the circus travels from city to city, the marital union turns into a fiery attraction. Alex, who is hiding a secret - a possible heir to the Russian imperial crown, marked by trauma - begins to give in. Daisy challenges him with humor and courage, and he protects her from dangers, such as animal rebellions or rivals. Their conflicts - from witches in the tent to passionate nights - weave a bond as deep as the circus props. But the past haunts them: Daisy's mother left an emotional void, Alex's coldness hides pain. Will Daisy return to luxury or accept the circus as home? Will Alex believe in love?
