Oboje bosonogi

Oboje bosonogi

Lidija Scheuermann Hodak

It is about the world of our Slavonian wastelands, a microspace in which all 60 stories take place. Numerous characters are woven into these stories with their own destinies.

  • The very fact that the narrator comes from an autobiographical position, a four-year-old girl who lost her mother and comes to live in the wasteland with her father and stepmother, is emotional from the very beginning. You read everything that follows with a certain disbelief. You realize that life is a mix of positive and negative emotions. The author uses these stories to convey the message that the beautiful ones are much stronger and more important than the ugly ones, which are also part of the story, because without an antagonist, there is no protagonist.
