The new book by writer Professor Slobodan Prosperov Novak, in a literary but very concise style, with a wealth of verified historical data and anecdotes, recounts details from the lives and works of the most famous Dalmatians.
The persons covered range from Emperor Diocletian and Marko Marulić to Ivo Vojnović and Ranko Marinković, from Juraj Dalmatinac and Nikola Božidarević to Miroslav Radman, Ante Tomić and Boris Dežulović. The book also includes a number of Dalmatian politicians who have marked its history, from Demetrius Hvarski to Mihovil Pavlinović, Frano Supil and Ivo Sanader.
