Izzy McBride never expected to inherit a real castle from her great-uncle Bill, but that's exactly what happened. As the mistress of the estate - a rather neglected estate that needs a lot of love and attention - Izzy is trying to make her dream come true and turn the castle into a boutique hotel, all in the run-up to Christmas. Izzy's eccentric mother derails her plans by renting the room to mystery thriller writer Ross Adair. On top of that, snow begins to fall, covering the Scottish countryside like icing on a Christmas cake, making the task of renovating the castle a race against time.
