"The Poet Speaks: Philosophical-Aesthetic Riddles" by Dragutin (Drago) Ćepulić is a collection of short, thoughtful essays in which the author reflects on literature, art, philosophy, and human creativity in a witty, insightful, and unobtrusive manner.

Ćepulić combines philosophical depth and aesthetic sensitivity in the form of koserija – light, often ironic conversations and reflections.

In the book, the poet observes the world from the perspective of an artist who does not theorize in a dry way, but listens to life, nature, the spirit of the times and the enduring questions of existence. Ćepulić often starts from simple everyday motifs to open up deeper questions about the meaning of art, the role of the poet, truth, beauty and transience.
