Otkriće sveta u stripu #1: Odisej i Aleksandar Veliki

Mino Milani, Pierre Castex

The first issue of Larousse's "Discovery of the World in Comics" series brings two stories: Odysseus the Sailor and Alexander's Trail. The drawings are the work of Enrik Sio and Karl Marcello, and the scenarios are by Min Milani and Piero Kasteks with the

"Odysseus the Sailor" follows the mythical adventures of Odysseus, King of Ithaca, based on Homer's Odyssey. The comic depicts his ten-year journey home after the Trojan War, facing dangers such as the Cyclops, Circe, and the Sirens, relying on courage and cunning. It emphasizes his struggle with the unknown, where the stars and instinct were the only guides.

"In the Footsteps of Alexander" depicts Alexander the Great, the Macedonian king who conquered a vast territory from Greece to India (334–323 BC). The comic describes his campaigns, including victories over Darius III, the founding of Alexandria, and the burning of Persepolis. Alexander is depicted as a visionary who believed in his divine destiny, but not as an explorer in the classical sense.

The series presents historical and mythical figures in an educational and visually rich way, emphasizing adventurism and man's desire to conquer the unknown. The first edition from 1980 has antiquarian value due to its rarity and quality of workmanship.
