Skrivena teorija

Skrivena teorija

Pavao Pavličić

Pavle Pavličić's hidden theory was included among the ten best domestic nonfiction books in 2006 in the "Jutarnje lista" selection.

A book in which the famous Croatian literary theorist and writer has gathered texts by "old" Croatian writers (Marko Marulić, Petar Zoranić, Ivan Gundulić, Ignjat Đurđević, Andrija Kačić Miošić...) which were written as dedications or prefaces and afterwords to their famous works: "Judith", "The Mountains", "A Pleasant Conversation"... revealing the process of their creation and the social context. By interpreting these texts, Pavličić recognizes the peculiarities of the poetic and aesthetic expression of each writer.
