Knjiga je strukturirana analitički, fokusirajući se na ključne aspekte Petrićevog filozofskog sistema, zasnovanog na reinterpretaciji Aristotela kroz renesansnu prizmu. Đirardi Karšulin koristi primarne izvore (Petrićeva dela kao što su Defensio Aristotelis ad Iacobum Lopem, Discussiones peripateticae i Ars historica), kao i sekundarnu literaturu, da bi rekonstruisao Petrićev misao u kontekstu hrvatskog i evropskog filozofskog nasleđa.
