Der Führer ist in einem allgemeinverständlichen, fachlich fundierten Stil verfasst, enthält grundlegende Informationen zur archäologischen Stätte und dient als Lektüre zum besseren Verständnis der Funde vor Ort. Die Texte von M. Menđušić („Danilo in der Vorgeschichte“), I. Pedišić („Danilo im Römischen Reich“) und Ž. Krnčević („Der mittelalterliche Danilo“) werden durch zahlreiche Abbildungen archäologischer Funde, deren Zeichnungen und Rekonstruktionen sowie durch Dokumentarfotos ergänzt.
