Mačje oko

Mačje oko

Klod Avlin

The Cat's Eye by the French writer Claude Aveline is a criminal and psychological novel in which tension is built through mystery, human psychology and the search for truth.

The plot revolves around an unusual crime and mysterious events connected with an object or symbol called the “Cat’s Eye”. Investigators try to find out who is behind the crime, while the hidden relationships between the characters, their secrets, motives and mutual distrust are gradually revealed. The main characters face a series of suspicions, false clues and unexpected twists. The author particularly emphasizes psychological tension: the characters often hide their true intentions, and the line between guilt and innocence becomes unclear. The atmosphere of the novel is dark and mysterious, and the sense of danger is present throughout the story. Through the investigation, greed, revenge and personal interests that led to the conflict and crime gradually come to light. The ending of the novel brings the revelation of the truth and an explanation of events that seemed incomprehensible.
