Faith teaches us that everything God gives us serves our personal good or the good of others. Prayer, in general, helps us find the will of the heavenly Father.
“He who does not pray will not be saved,” said St. Alphonsus Liguori. That is why we should take seriously the obligation of a daily encounter with God in prayer. If we pray consciously every day, such prayer will bear many beautiful fruits. Many in our community, not only once a week, but also daily, contemplate the Holy Scriptures. It is important that we do not stop at contemplating the Word, but that we begin to talk to our Father about what we have discovered, about His plans for us. Let us ask Him in prayer, in the light of God’s Word, and in the depths of our own hearts seek answers to our own questions. By trusting in God, we will find light and strength for our lives.
