Zagor LU #305: Crveno sunce
Zagor and the samurai Takeda pursue the Japanese ambassador’s kidnappers. At Red Peak, their hunt converges with ninja and gunmen, setting the stage for a final showdown.
Crveno sunce concludes the adventure begun in Povratak samuraja and continued in Nindže u zasjedi. Zagor and Takeda follow the kidnapped Japanese ambassador’s trail towards Red Peak, where several armed groups converge. A rescue mission becomes a confrontation on multiple fronts.
Gunmen and ninja complicate the pursuit, making the search for the captive more than a straightforward hunt for one enemy. At the same time, Zagor and Takeda approach a reckoning over their own unfinished business.
Jacopo Rauch combines samurai adventure with a classic western. Different fighting skills and understandings of duty meet in a story where cooperation does not erase personal differences. Zagor must protect a threatened life while judging the actions of an ally whose motives do not entirely match his own.
Massimo Pesce’s artwork emphasises movement, close combat and the interplay of blades and firearms. The heights of Red Peak provide the setting for ambushes, pursuit and direct confrontation.
This issue completes the storyline spanning Ludens #303–305, bringing Takeda’s return and the adventure surrounding the Japanese diplomatic mission to their conclusion.
