„Robinzon Kruzo“ je avanturistički roman Danijela Defoa objavljen 1719. godine. Priča prati mladića Robinsona Kruzoa, koji, uprkos očevoj želji da vodi miran život, odlučuje da postane mornar.

Nakon brodoloma, Robinson je jedini preživeo i završava na pustom ostrvu.

Tokom 28 godina na ostrvu, Crusoe se prilagođava divljini, gradi sklonište, uzgaja hranu i lovi. Njegova snalažljivost i upornost omogućavaju mu da preživi. Posle mnogo godina, on spasava domorodca koga zove Petko i uči ga engleski i hrišćanstvo. Kasnije zajedno brane ostrvo od kanibala i pirata.

Roman istražuje teme samoće, ljudske izdržljivosti i civilizacije nasuprot divljini. Robinsonov povratak u Englesku posle višegodišnje izolacije simbolizuje pobedu čovekove snalažljivosti i volje za preživljavanjem. Delo je jedan od prvih realističkih romana i ostaje klasik svetske književnosti.
