Pustolovina božićnog pudinga

Agatha Christie

The Christmas Pudding Adventure (1960) is a collection of six crime stories by Agatha Christie, in which five cases are solved by Hercule Poirot and one by Miss Marple.

  • The Adventure of the Christmas Pudding: Poirot helps an Eastern prince recover a stolen ruby. On Christmas Eve, at Colonel Lacey's house, the jewel is hidden in a pudding. Poirot exposes the thief and recovers the ruby, using his wits.
  • The Mystery of the Spanish Chest: Poirot investigates the murder of Edward Clayton, found in a chest at a party. Suspicion falls on the jealous husband, but Poirot discovers that the motive is more complex, involving a love triangle and hidden passions.
  • The Underling: Poirot solves the death of a man who changed his diet, discovering that the motive for the murder is linked to financial interests and family secrets.
  • Twenty-Four Hairs: Poirot solves a murder in a restaurant, where the key to the crime is an unexpected change in the victim's usual behavior, which reveals the culprit.
  • The Dream: Poirot investigates the case of a man who dreams of his own murder. He finds clues that point to psychological manipulation and a hidden perpetrator.
  • Greenshaw's Folly: Miss Marple solves a mystery at Greenshaw's Pavilion, where she uncovers a murder connected to a family secret, using her intuition and observation.

The collection is known for its variety of plots, characteristic wit, and Christie's genius in creating puzzles.
