Snaga kršćanske ludosti
The book is powerful, personal, and provocative; it is a blend of philosophy, testimony, and spiritual literature.
“The Power of Christian Madness” is a collection of autobiographical essays, spiritual reflections, and testimonies by Tatyana Goricheva, an intellectual who went through an existential crisis in the Soviet Union, philosophical quests, an experience of the East (especially Zen Buddhism), and then a radical conversion to Christianity. The book traces her transition from atheistic Soviet culture to a living faith, which she calls “Christian madness” – madness in the eyes of the world, but strength in the eyes of God. The emphasis is on the liberation she experienced by encountering Christ amidst the cruelty of a system that did not allow freedom of thought, speech, or faith.
