Thomas Mann's first novel, published in 1901 when the author was only 26 years old. The work immediately brought the young writer worldwide fame and contributed significantly to his Nobel Prize for Literature in 1929.
The book represents the author's anthology - the largest part is the novel Čisla (Čisla), followed by the short story Macedonian Criticism of French Thought and several short stories (Odin vog, Akiko, Fokus-grupa, Gost na prazniku bon).
The anthology, edited and translated by Zdravko Malić, a leading Croatian Polish scholar and founder of the Polish Language Department at the Faculty of Fine Arts in Zagreb, represents a key selection of Polish short fiction from the 20th century.
The Christmas Pudding Adventure (1960) is a collection of six crime stories by Agatha Christie, in which five cases are solved by Hercule Poirot and one by Miss Marple.
The collection "Confession and Other Stories" brings together lesser-known, but extremely valuable, short stories by Andrić, written mainly in the period 1920–1940, some of which were only published posthumously.
