"Thoughts and Views" by Antun Gustav Matoš, an anthology of excerpts and aphoristic sayings by Matoš, compiled and edited by Dr. Mate Ujević and published by the Lexicographic Institute in 1955, is the first such book printed in our country at all, and it still represents a living and attractive book today that contains the quintessence of Matoš's rich, inexhaustible and immortal thought.
