Koko u Parizu

Koko u Parizu

Ivan Kušan

Koko and her friends go to Paris, where an ordinary school trip turns into a new adventure. In a foreign city, she must navigate suspicious clues, misunderstandings, and dangerous situations.

Koko in Paris is one of the sequels to the popular series by Ivan Kušan about the curious and resourceful boy Koko, who once again finds himself in the middle of a complicated adventure. The plot is set in Paris, a city that in the novel is not just an attractive backdrop but a space of constant movement, encounters and surprises. What begins as a journey full of excitement soon develops into a plot marked by suspicion, search and a series of unforeseen events.

Koko here again proves to be a hero who cannot stay aside when he senses that something more is hidden behind seemingly ordinary circumstances. Driven by curiosity, but also a sense of justice, he embarks on an investigation that takes him through an unknown city, among adults whose intentions are not always clear. His friends also play an important role in this, because the adventure develops through their mutual loyalty, ingenuity and willingness to take risks.

The novel combines detective tension, humor and the dynamics of a travel adventure. Kušan writes simply, vividly, and clearly, making the story easy to follow, and Paris is depicted through the eyes of young characters - as a city of wonder, confusion, and challenge. That's why Koko in Paris is appealing both as a coming-of-age novel and as a tense children's adventure in which courage is shown through resourcefulness, not force.
