Plavokrila ptica
The first part of the book consists of poems for and about children, and the second part consists of three plays. Some of the poems are accompanied by musical notations, and the plays are short and interesting enough to be performed in schools.
Gardaš's style remains recognizable in this collection: simple language, warmth, gentle instruction, love of nature and everyday children's experiences. The title Plavukrila ptica evokes freedom, imagination and beauty – motifs that often appear in his poetry for children. Plavukrila ptica is a collection of gentle poems and short plays for children, imbued with imagination, warmth and simple life wisdom, characteristic of Gardaš's approach to children's literature.
